4-H på Larimer County Fair

Alla projekt har specifika krav för att ställa ut på Larimer County Fair. Utställningskraven finns listade i "premiumboken".  

Du kan hitta ett schema över evenemang, premiumboken och mer information på Larimer County Fairs hemsida. The premium book is released each spring. 

4-H Premium Book:

Larimer County Fair har tre premiumböcker för 4-H:

• 4-H Livestock Premium Book
• 4-H Allmän och familjekonsumtionsvetenskap Premiumbok
  • Exhibit requirements match the Colorado State Fair 4-H Exhibit Requirements for General and Consumer Sciences Divisions.
• 4-H Dog Premium Book

To find your exhibit requirements, start by finding your project. From there, look for the unit or level you are enrolled in. The exhibit requirements will be based on your unit. Please read the display requirements carefully. 

Du kan se flera "klasser" i varje enhet. Din klass baseras på din ålder:

• "Jr." står för "junior" och är för 4-H medlemmar 8-10 år
• "Int." står för "intermediate" och är för 4-H medlemmar 11-13 år
• "Sr." står för "senior" och är för 4-H medlemmar 14-18 år

What is Interview Judging Day?

An opportunity for 4-H members to practice interview skills and build confidence. Members will sit down with a judge knowledgeable in their project area and discuss their project, record book, and what they learned throughout the year in the project.

What is the process to participate in Interview Judging Day?

• When registering for Larimer County Fair, sign up for an interview judging time slot. Make sure to write your time slot down!
• Make sure to complete your e-record (also known as a record book) before interview judging day. Ask your club leader if you have questions.
• On Interview Judging Day, bring your final project/display board and e-record. 

What happens after Interview Judging Day is complete?

The judge will evaluate all submitted projects and decide on placings. Projects are then exhibited for the public in the McKee Building during the Larimer County Fair. Eligible members will have the opportunity to compete at the State Fair based on placement.

Do all 4-H Members have to participate?

4-H members are not required to participate but are highly encouraged to. It is a valuable opportunity for youth to:

• Share the results of their efforts throughout the year
• Practice their interviewing skills
• Have their work evaluated
• Show off their work to the public.

4-H anmälningsdeadline:

Youth must enroll in 4-H by March 1st, 2024 to be eligible to enter their 4-H project in the 2024 Larimer County Fair. 

Projektspecifika deadlines:

Vissa projekt har särskilda deadlines för att delta i Larimer County Fair. Vänligen delta i dina klubbmöten, projektmöten, titta på projektsidoroch läs Clover Connection nyhetsbrev för att få uppdateringar. 

Deadline för rättvis anmälan:

Under försommaren 2024 måste du anmäla dina projekt till Larimer County Fair. The Ranch är ansvarig för mässanträde. För frågor eller funderingar, ring The Ranch på 970-619-4009.
